Experience Lormar Endurance Trail Run

The Lormar Endurance Trail Run is a fun weekend of trail running in the heart of the Karoo from 21-22 September 2019.

Experience authentic Karoo hospitality, with braais, fresh farm bread, condensed milk coffee, koeksisters, and craft beer, while witnessing the Karoo’s famous picturesque sunsets.

Lormar is not about crossing the finish line as quickly as possible, but rather a trail running experience like no other.

Competition rules

One Lormar Endurance Trail Run entry was available. The winner chose between the longer HorseRun (8km night run and 24km day two, value R2,150) or the SheepRun (8km night run and 12km day two, value R2,050).

Win your money back! If she had entered and paid for her entry before she registered through the app (worth 10 points), and then won, she had the option of being refunded her entry fee, or giving her winning entry to someone else. Prize is not refundable for cash for a winner who did not enter the race.

Competition closes noon on Friday 22 March 2019.

Winner announced 10am on Monday 25 March 2019.

Judges decision is final.

Staff and family of Lormar Endurance, Urban Goat Events, and TRAIL magazine are not eligible to win.

Getting to Lormar Endurance Trail Run

A. Coming from Colesberg or Graaff-Reinet/Port-Elizabeth:
Take offramp into Middelburg. Continue with main road (Meintjies Street) towards a traffic light (the only one in town!).

Turn right (coming from Colesberg or left coming from Graaff-Reinet), head on to a T-junction, turn left and first right into Richmond road (R398). Stay on this road for 48km. The farm Fairview will be on your left.

B. Coming from Cape Town:
Take the first gravel road just passed Richmond to the right on the R398. Carry on for 65km. Fairview will be on your right.
